It's Half term...

... but only a short one for me! It has been lovely having three whole days at home plus the week ends. But I do not think I have accomplished as much as I would like to have done. I still have not found something exciting to sew. But I have done well with the jumper.

I am not sure who will be the proud owner. Grace is not in the running however. I have also stitched quite a bit of my last swap square.

I had not realised that it was the last one until checked the data base. It will be good to get them out of the way. Then I have the great pleasure of making the ones I have received into a wall hanging. I say that some what facetiously because I still have not done anything with the ones I had from the last swap. I shall make the effort though. Maybe that will be my big sewing project for the year.

It has continued to snow on and off through this month it comes and goes. Here is the yesterday's contribution.

and here is today's

We have had several pots which have been damaged by frost

so they will need replacing.

John went to the allotment at the weekend and on Sunday afternoon planted some seeds for the greenhouse. At some point he hurt his neck and this will curtail allotment visits for a while. I expect the weather will be dry and gloriously sunny just for spite.

We had Chinese take away on Sunday in celebration of Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. I had a lovely new dangly for up here. Photos soon, it's not dangling yet.

Thanks for stopping by.

Looks like you're keeping yourself busy :o) At least right now you are closer to spring than we are because we just got dumped on :o(

Oy, I couldn't see the white on the swap piece until I looked at the bigger piece. It doesn't look fun.

I hope the weather doesn't spite John, even though it means clouds and cold for everyone else.
