A month nearly gone...

... and this is my first post of the year! Before Christmas I didn't quite finish my nativity wall hanging. Its the first of this type of sewing I have done and its finished all bar the neatening and hanging it. As you can see at the moment it is "hanging" on the floor.



Several years ago I did an online class through Magic Threads called Mother Nature she was a tree doll and I thoroughly enjoyed making her. So I have decided to make a new one in wintery shades.
For the tree trunk you have build the fabric from snippets of different fabrics.





I have finished the trunk and it now looks like this


This is a longterm project as I want to spend time finding the right fabrics.

I have so many things I want to do this year
