It's mid November already!

The month seems to be rushing by. Only a few more to make Christmas goodies.
I seem to have got carried away with knitting trees.

I think this is because they are easy to do and knit up really quickly. There are three more but they have gone to Teesside.

Last year at the Knitting and Stitching Show I bought Luna Lapin to make  and at Yarndale this year  I bought a kit to make her a winter cloak  and another to make her some knee ( do rabbits have knees?) boots.  while in the queue to pay I noticed there was also a book so I bought that as well. I does mean I have a couple of patterns twice but the author was signing tcopies so how could  I not get it?
The cloak was no problem to make but the lining fabric was prone to fraying which was a bit of a nuisance. The boots were fiddly and if I had followed the instructions to put said boot on rabbits foot before doing the laces it would have been fine. But I was upstairs and Luna was downstairs so I tried without inserted foot. It would have been quicker to go and get her ,make a cup of tea and do several other jobs than the time it took to do just one. So I went down for her before lacing the second. Yes it was much easier! One of the times when pattern designer knows best ( they don't always)

So of course Luna has looked through the book and the Christmas fabric and now there is a half made dress on the sewing table.

The crochet has been going well. I can now make flowers without needing the instructions
and I am all set for the second course. The trouble is, one more craft means trying to fit it in. I still have weaving on the loom from the beginning of the year that has got neglected and I have yarn from Yarndale to knit. Then of course next week it is the Knitting and Stitching show once more. It comes around quicker each year.

This time last week we had snow

not the best day to be up the telegraph pole.

This week is much warmer but getting colder by the end of the week.

The knitted trees are lovely. sometimes while sewing projects I do similar things like you and think why the hell did I do it like that.

Luna looks nice and cosy in her outfit. Brrr your snow is not very welcome, we only had the wet stuff here for days.
Lovely crochet.
