More news from the allotment

On Saturday I went back to the allotment with John to finish planting the seed potatoes.

Biddle and Gardener Bunny checked they were planted up the correct way. Green shoot at the top.

I thinned out this row of lettuce and replanted the them in a new row. Then did the same for the  radish. All the while this little chap sang his heart out.
Later on we watched him feeding his mate meal worms. Alas no photos but have got a blue
tit on the fat balls.

I have enjoyed helping at the allotment. John is awaiting an operation to remove his gall bladder so I will be helping for a few weeks longer.

The rhubarb is coming along nicely

On the creative front
the latest piece of weaving.

It looks great. Your trenches are much better than mine. Rhubarb much further on but thats to be expected. Have lovely birds here too. love your weaving xxx

It's nice to see growing things...and your lettuce. Heavens I wish we could start planting but it's still too early to do so here.

I always love the pictures of the allotment. Best wishes for John's surgery. The weaving looks fantastic. :)
