August

and a week has gone already. Not much happening at the moment. The weather had been quite warm but has become dull and drizzly.
We have had produce from the allotment, plenty of potatoes, beans and lettuce.

Last year we bought some teeny buddleia plants, two survived the winter cold and have flowered

We have a hollyhock

However the sweet peas were planted so late there is no sign of a bud yet

We haven't had very much sun since the beginning of August. Our rain showers have been more outbursts than dizzly with cloudy intervals inbetween.

Everything looks very lush! Thanks for commenting on my 'Silver Darling' - I've had no confirmation that he's reached Skye, but hopefully . . . :D
