Bits and pieces

Elli has a jumper. She had borrowed one of Biddle's but wanted a girlie one

Grace had her eye on this yarn but I only had one ball so there would not have been enough. All other activity on the creative front has again been secretive. But I am pleased with what I have done.

A couple of weekends ago it was very windy and this was the result

One side was already a bit cracked so the wind finished it off and we will have to invest in a new one for next spring.

Work is progressing at the allotment

Biddle and Gardener SockBunny came to check

Gardener was tired after the big adventure and had to check out a new chair to rest in

She thought the wooden one a bit too dusty and has taken up residence in the comfy one.

Here is an update on the tomatoes that grew this summer. They have ripened at last and we had some for lunch. They tasted so much nicer than supermarket bought ones.

I have had a busy week so far. One of my agencies offered me some one 2 one tutoring, two hours a day for three days a week and not too long a bus journey. Although it will not bring in very much money it is better than nothing. And I am really enjoying which is just as important.

This weekend we are off to see Bellowhead. We saw them last year and they were brilliant.

This time next week it will be nearly half-term and the clocks will go back an hour.

Thanks for stopping by

It must have been the year for tomatoes as everyone I know who grew tomatoes were very happy with their crop.

Sounds like your area got some of the winds we had here a few days ago. It was almost scary.

Your allotment seems to be coming along too.

We have a greenhouse like that by our back door. They don't last as long as you want them to do they. The result is you get more tape than greenhouse.
