...and mine is too

I have finally finished my doll. I found some really lovely flowers for her hair from the habby dept in Boyes. I also found some ribbon for her apron. it is actually a burgundy colour but with her skirt showing through it looks a deep purple. Her hair is an unusual colour and you don't get the full effect until the sun is shining. I still have to find some small wicker baskets for them both to hold.

Its been a frustrating week as I mislaid a bag of over dyed threads. I have had the house turned inside out and was beginnning to think they had been thrown out by mistake. On Saturday I decided that I would turn out the footstool storage again and... yes there they were. I am sure there are gremlins a foot.

Beautiful Doll! Lovely colors!

I know what you mean about knowing you have 'something' and it appears to be missing. It is just annoying when that happens!

Enjoy the day

Hi Wendy! It's JD (aka Jen or Jenster) from Outlander. Thought I'd come take a peek.

The doll - especially the dress - is beautiful. It looks like it took a long time to make. What a talent you have!

Hi Wendy!

Finally getting here to take a peek. You are incredibly talented and the dolls are lovely. I have a friend that makes and collects dolls and until she showed me what it takes to make a doll like this, I had no idea how much work they are. Looks like fun though.

Nice to meet you!

Jen (Jen in MT from Outlander grp)
