 Ahoy there 

 On Saturday we went to Liverpool and crossed by train to Birkenhead.

Biddle was excited as the Queen Mary 2 was docked as part of the 175 year celebrations of the link between Cunard and Liverpool.  We had some great views of this huge liner.



You can see how small the ferry is








We rather liked this pirate ship too.

Back in Liverpool the view of the whole liner was not quite as good.

You can just make out people standing on one of the decks.


Later in the evening she set sail for New York via Halifax Nova Scotia

What a great time, how lovely to see the liner in the harbour, the people certainly look tiny on there.
