Last night we had the last of the parsnips and very tasty they were too. I shall look forward to a new crop at the end of the year.
I have finished my second piece of weaving. The warp is some thin yellow cotton yarn I bought from Texere several years ago. The weft is some yarn again from the stash. I think it is called Piccaso and probably Sirdar. it is a black curly yarn with splashes of colour. I am not yet adept enough to add little bits of colour to my weft. I am finishing the end without a fringe as I am hoping to use this fabric to make an item
The end, end has been stitched but the beginning needs to be sorted out and is still tied in the knots that fixed it to the loom. The first few rows are quite loose but I hope I can sort this out.
