I've been busy...

...this week. I have made a dragon which was a fun birthday gift from John. An elf and a Christmas tree both Artgirlz kits. I am pleased with them all.

I have mailed out my exchange x stitch square

Thanks to all of you who comment on the blog. Its great getting feed back.

We had a lovely warm sunny day yesterday but today is back to grey and windy. The washing machine engineer arrived although the door button had mysteriously sorted itself out but he did a bit of adjusting and went on his way. Next week we have the trauma of the new boiler being fitted so I hope that will be pain free.

Today I have working on my second exchange square which is not too complicated.
This is the one I received in the post this week

Isn't he cute I have signed up for 6 altogether and hope eventually to make them into a wall hanging.

I am still looking through stash, magazines and patterns to find a big project to tackle. I did come across a rather nice wall hanging of the three wise men so that has joinedthe list of possibles.

No sign of any work yet other supply teachers tell me its all very quiet where they are.

Tomorrow is eye test day so I will get to choose new glasses.

The dragon is made from cardboard tubes. I painted him red but the kit contained green too

Looks like you've been having fun! I like the tree...may have to try one of those.
Thanks for your kind words. I'm missing her snoring today - she usually sleeps under my craft table......sniff.

Those are adorable Wendy! You're so creative :o)

Nice job on your flowers and snowman. I can't believe you are having a problem finding a big project to stitch though. LOL!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had no work :o( Hopefully things will pick up soon.
