What happens when you have a duvet day?

Tia settled down for a morning snooze under the duvet oblivious to the fact that catnip mousie was being played with

 Magic loves catnip amd was rolling around with Catnip Mousie. But this is the best photo I could get.

 It is two years since Magic's (aka Sparky) owner died. I am not sure who has him now but he seems well looked after.

We don't see so much if him nowadays but if he is out and about he always pops around.

Mori's birthday

Last Tuesday was Moriarty Chien's birthday. He is here on a long term holiday from the Isle of Skye.

As you can see Biddle and Mori are about to attack the chocolate covered flapjack. Guess who later on in the afternoon chipped her front tooth?

We were all going to take a trip to the allotment but the weather turned colder so we stayed at home. Hopefully there are warmer days to come although there is a biting wind this weekend.

It's March

all ready and still no snow. Last year we had loads as the month  progressed but this year I think I am ready for some bright sunny days instead. We have had some sun and more of the crocuses are out.

I was threading up the warp

and wondering why the yarn was not moving! This is much finer yarn than I have been used too and the heddle is 12 holes to the inch. I have woven some of it today. It is going to take an age to do the whole length. But I am hoping it is going to fabric that I can cut out.
